Okay so, I'm gonna try my hand at legit blogging, if this is what a legit blog is considered.
Some of you will be able to relate to this story to some extent.
This story takes place at my place of employment, I work in the seafood department at my local grocery store, but I actually don't mind my job. I'm 19 trying to get my schooling in order, that's a whole other story in itself, and working part-time just short of full-time hours. I've been working this job for 3 years now and the pay is decent for the work, but of recent the dept. just got a new manager, a woman. Now me being the person who's worked there the longest I'm in the most with her going over our general client basis what our store carries how well certain product sell all the usual's to running a business. Within my first hour of working with this woman I was ready to walk out and quit, that or smack a hoe. I can't even begin to describe my distaste for my new manager, the best I can do is explain the various situations. First she had my put out expired fish for sale, I brought the case to her and told her it needed to be scanned out and she tells me " Oh that's still good to go out, I opened it up yesterday and it smelled wonderful " As she's saying this to me I'm staring at the packing tie still sealed around the case and can't believe how ignorant this woman is. I opened the case and as I expected the fish was still sealed in the plastic bag. The only thing this woman's smelling is the shit spewing out of her mouth.
Moments later I walked into the back cooler and hands me a case of Rockfish and tells me it's on sale and I got confused and asked her what it she was talking about and she tells me " It's the BC Snapper on sale, $7.99/lb " this woman was completely mocking my intelligence. I called her on it and told her it's actually Ocean Perch and she tells me that " Today, It's Snapper ". This woman just drives me crazy, she's all kinds of ignorant stupid. As much as I don't give a fuck about my job, I still like to keep a little moral and integrity to my name. This managers an organized wreck, I could write a short novel on the things shes done that have pissed me off, not even mentioning the other part-timers and she's only been here for 5 days. Hopefully some of you understand where I'm coming from and can relate to having horrible managers/bosses.
